An exciting opportunity to join the Tom Raffield team as a Logistics & Warehouse Assistant has become available.
You will work closely with the Logistics Coordinator to ensure all goods are carefully checked, packed and dispatched on time, as well as managing the warehousing of finished goods. This is the last stage in the process of handmaking and delivering high quality wooden lighting and furniture to Tom Raffield’s high end and discerning customers and is a vital role within the company.

Reporting to: Logistics Coordinator

Transfer of finished goods.
Packing of lighting and furniture.
Replenishing packaging stock/organising the packing room.
Cleaning/tidying and organising to ensure finished goods are well cared for.
Taking care over packaging ensuring the packaging is uniform & looks appropriate for the luxury products being produced.
Assisting with building pallets.
Assisting with unloading/loading deliveries/shipments.
Keeping the work area clean and tidy throughout the day
The successful candidate will:
Be very hard working.
Have great problem-solving skills.
Be interested in learning about the structure of the products to ensure the packaging is effective.
Work well under pressure and to specific instructions as well as being able to self-motivate and manage own workload.
Work well to tight deadlines & be good at prioritising tasks.
Have great initiative and be interested in making improvements.
