Carn Mirror Range
Joining Tom Raffield’s best selling Ash Accessories homeware range - the Carn Mirrors are a refreshing addition. With origins rooted in the sculptural tree canopies surrounding Tom Raffield’s Cornish design studio, the collection of steam bent, ash wood storage and accessories celebrates the strength, versatility, and unique character of this sustainable natural material, whilst showcasing forward-thinking design at its very best.
Mirroring the allure of asymmetry, the circular Carn Mirror is destined to infuse your home with natural light and beauty. Artus Lighting Range
Two pendants are joining Tom’s iconic Artus Table Light design to create the Artus Lighting Range. A fine birch dowel cage contains its blown-glass bulb within. Daring yet delicate, the Artus drum lampshade diffracts a mesmerising pattern of shadows, dramatising your space.

209 ethereal dowels are slotted into a laser-cut birch plywood frame to shroud an exposed filament bulb. Intricately placed, each illuminated pillar distributes kaleidoscopic, vertical shadows that mesmerise the eye of the beholder. Handcrafted from sustainably sourced wood, this wooden drum pendant provides eccentric beauty to any bedroom, hallway, or living space alike. RRP £275

118 ethereal dowels gracefully intersect with a laser-cut birch plywood frame, delicately veiling an exposed filament bulb. Diffusing a warm glow into its surroundings, the elegant tier of sustainably sourced oak or walnut gently cocoons the bulb, allowing the organic wooden grain to take centre stage. The plywood inner structure supports the skilfully simple layer of timber, secured with brass screws to create a soft pool of downlight.

Since discovering the traditional, age-old technique of steam bending wood whilst studying his degree in 3D Sustainability & Design, Tom has been on an incredible self-taught journey of developing and understanding the process to become one of the world leaders in his craft. Tom’s fascination with the ecological technique allows him to create intricate curves and twists, mimicking organic shapes and celebrating the very thing that inspires him - nature.
Tom Raffield is one of a new generation of designers and makers, using his craft in innovative and contemporary ways. Leading the charge in sustainable design, he is driven to forge a path to excellence and cause as little environmental impact as possible along the way.
His passion and skill are now shared with his talented team of craftspeople, together they create objects that symbolise nature, tell a story and will last a lifetime, all whilst protecting the natural world.
