With an experimental workshop set amongst six acres of ancient woodland in Cornwall, Tom Raffield designs are synonymous with nature; each product is hand-shaped using sustainable wood and created as sculptural pieces of art using a pioneering form of steam bending.
Tom Raffield’s new collection, The Modum Range, launches on 24th August 2018 and showcases the brands signature steam bent curves and innovative, iconic design aesthetic. Taking inspiration from the organic shapes, movements and sequential patterns that are found in the natural world, Tom Raffield’s new Modum Lighting Range aims to put nature back in the spotlight.

Stand outs of the new range are the Arame Wall Light whose steam bent silhouette promises to create boundless, unfurling shadows that pirouette and tumble in kaleidoscopic tessellation. Other key pieces include the Quill 325 and Quill 550 Pendants which feature looping, layered plumage of oak or walnut wood designed to mimic a bird’s feathers in full flight formation.

Arame Pendant
A surge of optical energy; a silhouette of sustainable craftsmanship. When illuminated, an abundance of golden glow diffuses from the Arame Pendant’s steam bent core - casting an aura of light that's truly transfixing.
Arame Wall Light
Elemental, geometric, sequential. Switched on or off the Arame Wall Light casts endless shadows that unfold, twirl and summersault to create an extraordinary spectacle in your space.
Quill 550 Pendant
Light glides through the folds of the Quill’s looping, layered plumage of oak or walnut wood. Shadows swoop in weightless undulations. Delicate and intricate in perfect measure, the Quill celebrates aerial elevation. A perfect pendant for lower ceiling heights.
Quill 325 Pendant
