To make sure we can deliver our commitments to you our customers, our team, our partners, and the planet, we remain focused on improving the way we do business.

We started this long before the word “sustainability” was fashionable. For us, this is a calling and not just a business. A calling that we put our heart and soul into - and have for over a decade. Throughout our company’s history, we have been guided by our founding values, which compel us to put people and the planet first.

PRODUCT


• We achieved a huge milestone in our sustainability goals last year. We are now FSC® CoC certified (FSC-C177881), and a selection of our products are also FSC® approved, but all our wood is, and always has been, sourced from sustainable forests. FSC® certified products are available upon request.


• Produce our own 'Carbon Score' by mid 2024 for each of our designs, to help to continue our impactful reduction initiatives.

• Publish a sourcing map showing transparency of our sourced materials abroad and to demonstrate real leadership in supply chain responsibility.

• Offer employees an exciting and long career within our business, along with salaries that are fair, competitive and benchmarked against similar sized companies.

•  We pledge to foster a company culture where every voice is welcome, heard, and respected.

•  We aim to improve our diversity and inclusion policies to build on our employee, supplier and partner engagement and retention.

• Support other businesses in their sustainable journey by sharing our knowledge and practises to tackle climate change together.

• Drive the next generation of sustainable designers by collaborating and supporting schools and colleges.

PLANET


• We pledge to build on our Ecologi carbon offsetting and become a carbon neutral business by 2030.

• Continue to partner with the WWF as a member of their 2030 Circle and play a key part in preventing the planet reaching a series of climate change ‘tipping points’ and seek to find new ways of living sustainably and harmoniously alongside the natural world.

• Certify as a B Corporation by 2030 and ensure we are measuring our entire social and environmental performance, from supply chain and input materials to charitable giving and employee benefits.
