What a year 2024 has been for us here at Tom Raffield! With plenty of new, beautiful designs, and exciting collaborations to reminisce about, the past twelve months have created some truly special moments for us – let’s discover the highlights…

New Designs

This year has certainly been merry and bright with a beautiful selection of new designs…

We welcomed an exciting range of rechargeable, dimmable, and portable designs that allow every room to be imbued with natural beauty without the need for the tethering with wires.

Inspired by the glowing purpose of the Northern Star, the Norden Lighting Range combines minimalism and infinite wonder.

London Showroom

Back in June, we hit a huge milestone and opened the doors to our first showroom outside of Cornwall! Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour warmly embraced our wooden lighting and homeware, and we have since welcomed countless amazing customers through our doors.

A brighter future

With our Sustainability Coordinator, Katie, nicely settled into her new role, we have been able to enhance our ongoing focus on sustainability, making steps to becoming B-corp approved and introducing an internal sustainability score to ensure each and every design is crafted to reflect and respect the planet.

Although we have always measured our carbon emissions, this year we focused even more on how we can reduce them, including renewable energy – continuing our partnership with Ecologi. We have also pledged to reduce emissions by 50% by 2030.

We have used plastic free, recycled packaging for a long time but we regularly review our offering to ensure every design arrives to it’s forever home in the safest condition, in the most sustainable way. We continued to use sustainable, FSC certified packaging materials, but made sure to maximise the potential of all our bespoke packaging, whilst minimising waste.
