2025 Interior Trends
What we can expect to see this year…
Here at Tom Raffield, we believe homes can be styled with the perfect balance of modernity and timelessness – taking aspects of current trends that we know will stand the test of time, and thoughtfully introducing them into our homes. Last year boasted cosy living spaces and artistic lighting sculptures, and with a new year starting to unfurl, we explore how these evolved into 2025 predicted interior trends…
Earthy tones. We expect the continuing rise of the ‘Unexpected Red Theory’ to branch out into welcoming more bold sunset tones, such as yellows and oranges, into our living spaces. Dulux’s colour of the year, Joy, is a friendly yellow shade that welcomes happiness into any space.
Calming bedrooms. Our bedrooms will always be a personal space for us to seek solace after a busy day, and 2025 see’s us prioritising this calm through colour. Coastal blues and biophilic greens will ease us into the new year, creating idyllic lazy mornings and soothing evenings.
Cottage inspired kitchens. Arguably the most visited room in the home is the kitchen, so it is vital that it is welcoming and shining with personality. ‘Cottagecore’ continues to rise this year, giving you the opportunity to showcase curated pieces that are abundant with character and texture. This graceful style allows you to collect homeware pieces as you and your home grows, encouraging thoughtful, sustainable additions.
Colour drenching. The tail end of 2024 saw us dipping our toes in the world of colour drenching, and it seems 2025 will offer a deeper dive. From ceiling to floor, our homes will boldly boast colour. Whether you opt for dark and dramatic tones, or a neutral palette, colour drenching is an easy to adapt interior style that makes a statement in any home.
