Tom Raffield x Raymond Blanc at Chelsea Flower Show 2019
Banbury Walker Studio's design for Raymond Blanc's impressive Jardin Blanc area of Chelsea Flower Show changes annually to meet seasonal trends, and this year's vision is no exception.
Jardin Blanc 2019 is set to feature a neutral yet eye-catching colour palette in collaboration with Farrow and Ball that will compliment the newly designed seating areas - including the sought-after Chalet rooms. Furthermore, exquisite, curated planting with punchy hues of pink, purple and blue is set to wow guests in the famous Le Potager Garden.
"We're really looking forward to working with Banbury Walker Studio and Raymond Blanc on this creative project for Jardin Blanc. Our lighting pendants and Green Range Planters suit the aesthetic of the restaurant area perfectly; there's a lot of curved, flowing designs in this year's vision and we can't wait to see it all come together in person".
- Tom Raffield, Designer.
Following the glowing reception that our bespoke steam bent tree and No.1 Pendant installation at Jardin Blanc received during Chelsea Flower Show 2018, this year we are proud to announce our return to Raymond Blanc's exclusive restaurant area.
This show week, an array of our iconic Urchin and Skipper Lighting Pendants are set to illuminate the main Jardin Blanc dining space and cascade from the impressive, new 114 square metre pergola structure. Being the main feature of the luxurious dining area, our contemporary wooden lighting pendants have been chosen due to their striking, curvaceous designs and nature-inspired aesthetic. Intended to harmonise with the synergy of the planting schemes and sculptural furnishings, the Skipper and Urchin designs will create a unique and spectacular installation for guests to relax beneath.
Furthermore, a selection of our Green Range Planters (including the distinctive Morvah and Merryn designs) will also decorate the entrance to the luxurious restaurant area accompanied by our Large Harlyn Mirror.
Selected by Raymond Blanc for their unique, understated appearance, the Tom Raffield Green Range Planters will be adorned with an array of trailing, edible and decorative plants to bring life to the space and compliment the calming ambience of Jardin Blanc.
