Meet the Team: Lauren
Get to know our talented team members…

Working across our workshop, logistics, and office team, Lauren ensures your heirlooms are safely and sustainably packaged. Let’s find out more about Lauren and how her role here has developed…
TR: What is your job role and how long have you worked at Tom Raffield?
LB: “I am the Production Coordinator, and I have worked at Tom Raffield for 7 years.”

TR: What does your average day at Tom Raffield look like?
LB: “Mornings are always busy with working out the plan for the day based on what orders need to be made, and what needs to shipped out to customers. I also check what’s been ordered over the previous day and schedule longer lead time products with the workshop. The afternoons then either involve working with the logistics team on projects to improve processes or long term stock planning. Sometimes, even helping out with despatch and returns when I’m needed!”
TR: What is the best skill you have learnt from your time at Tom Raffield?
LB: “Multi-tasking! Keeping lots of plates spinning at the same time. I really enjoy the people management skills I have learnt too”.
TR: What is your favourite product or range?
LB: “I love the new portable lights, they are so versatile - I've even taken them camping!”
TR: What do you like to do after work?
LB: “At home, we cook a lot as a family and also walk our little sausage dog, Jango.”
TR: Why is sustainability important to you?
LB: “Having a child has made me much more concerned about the environment and trying to make it better for the future”.

TR: What are your hobbies?
LB: “Recently I have really been enjoying going to the pop up saunas and love getting out for walks on the coast”.
TR: What is your favourite place in Cornwall?
LB: “I spent most of time growing up on in Mullion and the Lizard so when I go back there, I always feel like I’ve come home”.
TR: What did you want to be when you were younger?
LB: “A nun... Sister Act my favourite film"!
