Each new handcrafted design is finished to the highest standard, which has come to be expected from a Tom Raffield heirloom and is guaranteed to last a lifetime.

The Shore Pendant

Step into the wave with the Comber Range. Complementing one of Tom’s bestselling lighting ranges, the Shore Pendant brings coastal form to homes.

Inspired by the power and grace of the Atlantic Ocean and the spiralling forms found scattered along Cornish shorelines, Tom Raffield’s Comber Lighting Range awakens interiors with the motion of Cornish tides.

Adorning homes with the calming complexity of coastal forms, the Shore Pendant graces interiors with curving form. A soothing interpretation of barrelling waves, the Shore’s enveloping sustainably sourced ash, oak, or walnut is hand curved to provide a wooden lampshade that is different from every angle.

Timber crescents are layered to partially cocoon the bulb, diffusing illumination through each cosy alcove. Suiting any space where a relaxed, tranquil atmosphere is required, the Shore Pendant grounds any interior as a standalone design or gathered in clusters to mimic sculpturesque, shoreline scenes.

Since discovering the traditional, age-old technique of steam bending wood whilst studying his degree in 3D Sustainability & Design, Tom has been on an incredible self-taught journey of developing and understanding the process to become one of the world leaders in his craft.
