Available from March 22nd 2024, each design is thoughtfully, and meticulously, crafted in their Falmouth based studio. Inspired by the endless beauty found in the vast Cornish landscapes, Tom Raffield’s designs respect nature whilst honouring its organic forms.

Mooring Lighting Range

Featuring a table, floor and wall light, the Mooring Lighting Range marries substance and style. Invite darkness into the light. The Mooring Lighting Range is also available in black ebonised oak.

Juxtaposing traditional techniques with an industrial aesthetic, here function becomes feature. From its signature curve to its filament bulb, the Mooring Lighting Range is refreshing in its simplicity, and surprising in its design.

A first for Tom Raffield. The Skipper Portable Table Light is the first of its kind for the sustainably lead company. Stylish, sustainable and rechargeable.

A portable and rechargeable table lamp that celebrates natural materials and handcrafted skill, the Skipper Portable Table Light is created from twelve individual, sustainably sourced ash, oak, or walnut wood petals and designed to produce golden light upwards and outwards.

Dimmable with a touch a of a button, the conveniently cordless and rechargeable table light is perfect for adding an abundance of personality to hallways, living spaces and home offices. The clever design comes supplied with a replaceable 1.5W LED bulb and USB/USB-C charging cable. With a battery life between 8-144 hours (depending on power mode) the versatile table lamp can move with you.

 

Crib Furniture Range

See your furniture differently.

Harmonising their wooden furniture range, the team of artisans have refreshed their Crib Furniture collection. Featuring the Crib Stool and the Crib Side Table, the wooden furniture pieces are a balancing act of craftsmanship and creativity.

Perfect proportions and clarity of purpose, elevated with an unexpected twist. Steam bent solid oak struts transform our seemingly unassuming Crib Furniture Range into a serious design statement.

Since discovering the traditional, age-old technique of steam bending wood whilst studying his degree in 3D Sustainability & Design, Tom has been on an incredible self-taught journey of developing and understanding the process to become one of the world leaders in his craft. Tom’s fascination with the ecological technique allows him to create intricate curves and twists, mimicking organic shapes and celebrating the very thing that inspires him - nature.

Tom Raffield is one of a new generation of designers and makers, using his craft in innovative and contemporary ways. Leading the charge in sustainable design, he is driven to forge a path to excellence and cause as little environmental impact as possible along the way.

His passion and skill are now shared with his talented team of craftspeople, together they create objects that symbolise nature, tell a story and will last a lifetime, all whilst protecting the natural world.

“Each piece we create has been on an experimental journey - individual, organic and carefully considered. We source everything from sustainable woodlands, which, coupled with the low energy steam bending process, is a very ecological practice with little wastage,” explains Tom
